Booking and Payment
To secure your trip, full or partial payment may be required depending on the specific journey. All prices are listed in the applicable currency and may be subject to change until the booking is finalized.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Refund eligibility depends on when the cancellation is made:
More than 30 days before departure: Partial refund (excluding booking fees)
15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund available
If Tales from Tropics cancels the trip, you will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Travel Insurance
We strongly advise securing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss or theft of personal belongings. Tales from Tropics is not responsible for extra expenses caused by travel delays or emergencies.
Health and Safety
Our trips often require a basic level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to inform us of any medical conditions or limitations in advance. Tales from Tropics is not liable for health issues or injuries incurred during the trip, except in cases of proven negligence.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are expected to follow guide instructions, respect local cultures and environments, and act in the interest of group safety. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
Travel Documents and Requirements
You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents such as passports, visas, and IDs. Tales from Tropics is not responsible for issues or delays caused by incomplete or incorrect documentation.
Liability Disclaimer
Outdoor adventures carry inherent risks. By booking with Tales from Tropics, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.
Use of Photos and Media
Photos and videos may be taken during trips for promotional purposes. By joining, you consent to the use of your image unless you notify us in writing prior to the trip.
Itinerary Changes
Trip itineraries are subject to change due to weather, safety issues, or other factors. Tales from Tropics will do its best to provide equivalent alternatives when adjustments are necessary.
